Person-Centred
Counselling

Person-Centered Therapy is all about you - your thoughts, feelings, and experiences. This approach is client-led, meaning that you set the pace, and we explore what’s important to you in a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental space. My role as your therapist isn’t to give advice or tell you what to do, but rather to walk alongside you, offering empathy, understanding, and acceptance. Together, we’ll build a trusting relationship where you feel heard, valued, and empowered to discover your own answers.

During our sessions, I will provide unconditional positive regard, which means you’ll be accepted just as you are, without fear of judgment. I will listen with empathy, truly trying to understand what you’re going through, and I’ll always be genuine and transparent in our conversations. This kind of connection creates the right conditions for self-discovery, healing, and personal growth.

What to expect ...

Person-Centered Therapy is designed to empower you to find your own answers and make meaningful changes in your life. As you engage in the process, you may experience:

  ●  Increased self-awareness and a deeper understanding of your emotions.

  ●  Improved ability to express thoughts and feelings freely.

  ●  Greater self-acceptance and enhanced confidence.

  ●  A stronger sense of empowerment in making decisions that align with your

      values.

  ●  Emotional relief as you process and make sense of past and present experiences.

  ●  Improved relationships through better communication and self-expression.

It is important to understand that therapy is a collaborative process, and progress depends on your engagement and willingness to explore your emotions. Change takes time, and while therapy can be deeply rewarding, it may also bring up intense emotions as you work through personal challenges. As your therapist I will be there to support you throughout your journey, providing a safe and confidential space for growth and healing.

If you have any questions about how therapy works or what to expect, please feel free to share them in our sessions.

I look forward to working with you.
